Leanne is a Korean Dual Language Immersion educator with the Anaheim Union High School District. As an English learner herself, she brings a unique perspective to multilingual education and is passionate about creating classrooms where students’ home languages are valued as assets rather than obstacles. She teaches Korean at both the middle and high school levels and has presented on Korean language instruction and bilingual education at professional conferences. Leanne is committed to translanguaging practices that promote student voice, belonging, and academic success, while empowering multilingual learners to use their full linguistic repertoire with confidence.
